Professionalism, experience, talent.

Content and copywriting

As communications officer for the National Federation of SubPostmasters, I was responsible for producing the bi-monthly journal, The SubPostmaster, and the weekly member newsletter.

With years of experience in customer service, at Channel 5 and TVPlayer, I have written clear and concise correspondence to customers, conveying vital information based on briefs from second-line support, external production companies, or my own detailed research.

At Alchimie UK I project managed the launch and was Editorial Manager for subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) channels, such as The Big Issue TV and Inside Outside: Home and Garden for the US Market. I created all the copy and UX copy for these channels.

Football blogger and author

I have been writing about football since the late nineties. My first major project was The Onion Bag, a football satire website that ran from 2003 to 2009.

In 2004 I visited Germany for the first time and my passion for German football was born. In time I started writing newsletters and then blog posts under the name Bundesbag.

My work was published on independent football blogs: Some People Are On The Pitch, Football Fairground, Two Footed Tackle and 200%.

I have also published some commercial work for UNIBET, ESPN and ITV Sport

In 2009 I co-founded the Sound Of Football podcast, a weekly football discussion show that is still going strong today. The podcast has a newsletter: The Weekend Boxset, a weekly preview of the seven best games to watch on TV for the upcoming weekend of which I am a contributor.

In 2010 I also started the German football podcast, The Bundesliga Show which is now known as Talking Fussball. I still make appearance on this podcast from time to time.

In 2015 I was commissioned to write my first book, Borussia Dortmund: A history in black and yellow which was published in November 2021.
